In their debut album entitled “Live from the Loʻi” (2007), the trio group Kāmau (Kamana Beamer, Kaliko Maʻiʻi and Adam Zalsow) blend together sounds of traditional Hawaiian slack-key with blues and acoustic folk melodies to convey messages of political sovereignty & justice for ʻāina, to frisky love endeavors reflective of youthful romances. The album was produced by Kapono Beamer and Kāmau.
